We respectfully acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Chippewa, Ojibwa and Potawatomi peoples, under the terms of the Robinson-Huron Treaty #61 of 1850, and the Williams Treaties of 1923. We recognize and deeply appreciate their vital connection to this land. We also recognize the contributions First Nations, Metis, Inuit and other Indigenous Peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
